![]() ![]() I didn't upgrade the firmware on the drive because it came with the most recent version, 1.01. The external hd and rewriter are connected via usb i have no firewire. ![]() pentium 4 40gb hd 256mb upgraded to 704mb. Tried the discs in all the players and it pauses in the same place on all devices. ![]() I have burnt another disc and getting the same symptoms. Next time you do a burn, copy and paste your log so we can see what's happening. It's then down to your hardware to do as it's told. ImgBurn basically sends a set of intructions to your drive. Whatever problems you are experiencing can't be caused by the software. Because ImgBurn uses BURNPROOF, technically, it shouldn't matter how long it takes to write your ISO onto a DVD or what your source is. ImgBurn will chug along happily writing to whatever drive you've selected for as long as it takes to complete the task. Still, it doesn't matter where you create the ISO file nor does it matter how long it takes. Should i just use the laptop hard drive?Ī log would have been nice. When i'm creating an iso file i use an external hard drive as the destination. Have tested the burnt disc with nero and it was fine only green dots. Seems fine on LG but if i use the laptop drive then i pauses. I'm playing the disc on two standalone players.
